# DNSecure vs EXTENSION.app

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DNSecure at none against EXTENSION.app's 4. DNSecure also leads on review sentiment (88% vs 78%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). EXTENSION.app's advantage is ratings volume (4.9K vs 109) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EXTENSION.app sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. DNSecure asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for DNSecure against 4.6 for EXTENSION.app. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EXTENSION.app has 4.9K ratings behind it against 109, so its average is the more settled of the two.
