# DNSecure vs GamingVPN

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DNSecure at none against GamingVPN's 12. DNSecure also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (88% vs 68%). GamingVPN's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 114). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GamingVPN sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. DNSecure asks for nothing beyond the download.

DNSecure holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GamingVPN has 1.2K ratings behind it against 114, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 88% of DNSecure's written reviews are positive against 68% of GamingVPN's.

DNSecure ships an update every 3 months, GamingVPN monthly. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
