# MagicWidgets vs Positive Affirmations Widget

The clearest difference is rating: MagicWidgets at 4.7 against Positive Affirmations Widget's 4.1. MagicWidgets also leads on ratings volume (7.3K vs 57). Positive Affirmations Widget's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and update cadence (daily vs fortnightly). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MagicWidgets sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Positive Affirmations Widget sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MagicWidgets holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MagicWidgets has 7.3K ratings behind it against 57, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of MagicWidgets's written reviews are positive against 38% of Positive Affirmations Widget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MagicWidgets ships an update fortnightly, Positive Affirmations Widget daily. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
