# MagicWidgets vs Quotes Widgets

The clearest difference is rating: MagicWidgets at 4.7 against Quotes Widgets's 3.0. MagicWidgets also leads on ratings volume (7.3K vs 1). Quotes Widgets's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (60% vs 35%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MagicWidgets sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Quotes Widgets sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MagicWidgets holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MagicWidgets has 7.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of MagicWidgets's written reviews are positive against 60% of Quotes Widgets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
