# MagicWidgets vs Photo Widget Easy

The clearest difference is rating: MagicWidgets at 4.7 against Photo Widget Easy's 1.5. MagicWidgets also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (7.4K vs 2). Photo Widget Easy's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MagicWidgets sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Photo Widget Easy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MagicWidgets holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MagicWidgets has 7.4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MagicWidgets ships an update fortnightly, Photo Widget Easy every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
