# Positive Affirmations Widget vs Font Maker

The clearest difference is ads: Positive Affirmations Widget at none against Font Maker's shown. Positive Affirmations Widget also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 4 weeks) and review sentiment (38% vs 20%). Font Maker's advantage is ratings volume (8.1K vs 57) and rating (4.4 vs 4.1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Positive Affirmations Widget sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Font Maker sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Font Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Font Maker has 8.1K ratings behind it against 57, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Positive Affirmations Widget's written reviews are positive against 20% of Font Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Positive Affirmations Widget ships an update daily, Font Maker every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on June 4, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
