# Hidgets vs Healthy Widgets

The clearest difference is price: Hidgets at Free against Healthy Widgets's $1.99. Hidgets also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and rating (3.3 vs 3.0). Healthy Widgets's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (57% vs 45%). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Hidgets is free to download; Healthy Widgets costs $1.99 up front. Hidgets sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Healthy Widgets asks for nothing beyond the download.

Hidgets holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hidgets has 169 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Hidgets's written reviews are positive against 57% of Healthy Widgets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hidgets ships an update weekly, Healthy Widgets every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
