# Hidgets vs Weight Widgets

The clearest difference is rating: Weight Widgets at 5.0 against Hidgets's 3.3. Hidgets's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (169 vs 2). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hidgets sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Weight Widgets sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Weight Widgets holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hidgets has 169 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Hidgets ships an update weekly, Weight Widgets fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
