# Tax Nitro vs Wix

The clearest difference is rating: Wix at 4.6 against Tax Nitro's 3.0. Wix also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (17K vs 2). Tax Nitro's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wix holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wix has 17K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Tax Nitro ships an update every 2 months, Wix every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
