The clearest difference is review sentiment: Austin Opera at 100% against Met Tour Guide's 50%. Austin Opera also leads on price (Free vs $1.99) and update cadence (every 7 months vs every 23 months). Met Tour Guide's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 3.3) and ads (none vs shown). On in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Met Tour Guide holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Austin Opera's written reviews are positive against 50% of Met Tour Guide's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
