# Catalog vs GHvendors

The clearest difference is rating: GHvendors at 5.0 against Catalog's 4.7. GHvendors also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Catalog's advantage is ratings volume (31 vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GHvendors holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Catalog has 31 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Catalog ships an update weekly, GHvendors every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
