# BS Companion vs E

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BS Companion at 94% against E's 5%. BS Companion also leads on rating (4.9 vs 1.5) and chart position (#61 vs unranked). E's advantage is price (Free vs $1.99) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 10 months). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

E is free to download; BS Companion costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BS Companion holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BS Companion has 57 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 94% of BS Companion's written reviews are positive against 5% of E's.

BS Companion ships an update every 10 months, E every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
