# Color Cocktail vs Bloom Sort

The clearest difference is ads: Color Cocktail at none against Bloom Sort's shown. Color Cocktail also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.5). Bloom Sort's advantage is ratings volume (2.8K vs 1) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Color Cocktail sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bloom Sort sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Color Cocktail holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bloom Sort has 2.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Color Cocktail ships an update fortnightly, Bloom Sort every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
