# (Not Boring) Calculator vs Widgetik

The clearest difference is ads: (Not Boring) Calculator at none against Widgetik's shown. (Not Boring) Calculator also leads on ratings volume (4.1K vs 68). Widgetik's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs monthly) and review sentiment (80% vs 70%). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. (Not Boring) Calculator sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Widgetik sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

(Not Boring) Calculator holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: (Not Boring) Calculator has 4.1K ratings behind it against 68, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of (Not Boring) Calculator's written reviews are positive against 80% of Widgetik's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

(Not Boring) Calculator ships an update monthly, Widgetik every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
