# Canny Cam vs Amitres

The clearest difference is rating: Canny Cam at 2.5 against Amitres's 1.0. Canny Cam also leads on ratings volume (51 vs 6) and device support (3 vs 1). Amitres's advantage is monetization model (free vs subscription). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Canny Cam sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Amitres sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Canny Cam holds the better App Store score, 2.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Canny Cam has 51 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Canny Cam ships an update every 2 weeks, Amitres every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
