# Planetary Hours by Planetaro vs V Locator

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: V Locator at none against Planetary Hours by Planetaro's 3. V Locator also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 70%) and iOS requirement (13 vs 17.0). Planetary Hours by Planetaro's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.7K vs 10). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Planetary Hours by Planetaro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. V Locator asks for nothing beyond the download.

Planetary Hours by Planetaro holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Planetary Hours by Planetaro has 1.7K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Planetary Hours by Planetaro's written reviews are positive against 100% of V Locator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Planetary Hours by Planetaro ships an update every 3 weeks, V Locator every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 7, 2026.
