# EteSync Notes vs Tuta Calendar

The clearest difference is review sentiment: EteSync Notes at 100% against Tuta Calendar's 57%. EteSync Notes also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.0). Tuta Calendar's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (162 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tuta Calendar sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. EteSync Notes asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tuta Calendar holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tuta Calendar has 162 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of EteSync Notes's written reviews are positive against 57% of Tuta Calendar's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
