# EigenGauge vs INKT

The clearest difference is rating: INKT at 5.0 against EigenGauge's 3.8. INKT also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks). EigenGauge's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (32 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EigenGauge sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and INKT sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

INKT holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EigenGauge has 32 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

EigenGauge ships an update every 6 weeks, INKT every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
