# ICVNL vs Nexus Reminder

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ICVNL at none against Nexus Reminder's 3. ICVNL also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 13). Nexus Reminder's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nexus Reminder sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. ICVNL asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for ICVNL against 4.8 for Nexus Reminder. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ICVNL has 1.1K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 57% of ICVNL's written reviews are positive against 42% of Nexus Reminder's.

ICVNL ships an update every 4 months, Nexus Reminder every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
