# Hey Widget vs Scheme

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scheme at every 9 days against Hey Widget's monthly. Hey Widget's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hey Widget sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per month and Scheme sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hey Widget ships an update monthly, Scheme every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
