# Sticky Widgets vs Sticky Notes

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Sticky Notes at 100% against Sticky Widgets's 33%. Sticky Notes also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.1). Sticky Widgets's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 14 months) and ratings volume (66 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sticky Widgets sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Sticky Notes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sticky Notes holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sticky Widgets has 66 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of Sticky Widgets's written reviews are positive against 100% of Sticky Notes's.

Sticky Widgets ships an update every 3 days, Sticky Notes every 14 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
