# Today's Widget vs Clock Widgets

The clearest difference is rating: Clock Widgets at 4.2 against Today's Widget's 3.5. Clock Widgets also leads on ratings volume (42 vs 8). Today's Widget's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clock Widgets sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Today's Widget asks for nothing beyond the download.

Clock Widgets holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clock Widgets has 42 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Today's Widget's written reviews are positive against 40% of Clock Widgets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
