# FitHim vs Step Tracker

The clearest difference is ads: FitHim at none against Step Tracker's shown. FitHim also leads on ratings volume (4.4K vs 177) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Step Tracker's advantage is review sentiment (74% vs 57%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FitHim sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Step Tracker sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for FitHim against 4.6 for Step Tracker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FitHim has 4.4K ratings behind it against 177, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 57% of FitHim's written reviews are positive against 74% of Step Tracker's.

FitHim ships an update every 5 weeks, Step Tracker fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
