# Shaflix vs Konsensus

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Shaflix at none against Konsensus's 14. Shaflix also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 17.0). Konsensus's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (130 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Konsensus sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Shaflix asks for nothing beyond the download.

Shaflix holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Konsensus has 130 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Shaflix ships an update every 11 months, Konsensus fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
