# Leaf VPN vs Geph

The clearest difference is rating: Geph at 4.1 against Leaf VPN's 3.8. Leaf VPN's advantage is review sentiment (58% vs 38%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Leaf VPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per 7 days and Geph sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Geph holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 385 and 191 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Leaf VPN's written reviews are positive against 38% of Geph's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Leaf VPN ships an update every 2 weeks, Geph monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
