# Nestlé Waters vs Prep'd

The clearest difference is ads: Prep'd at none against Nestlé Waters's shown. Prep'd also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and rating (4.4 vs 4.2). Nestlé Waters's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 37). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Prep'd holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nestlé Waters has 1.1K ratings behind it against 37, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of Nestlé Waters's written reviews are positive against 14% of Prep'd's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Nestlé Waters ships an update every 6 weeks, Prep'd every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
