# MakerFlo vs Eye Candy Pigments

The clearest difference is ratings volume: MakerFlo at 3.6K against Eye Candy Pigments's 129. Eye Candy Pigments's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for MakerFlo against 5.0 for Eye Candy Pigments. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MakerFlo has 3.6K ratings behind it against 129, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

MakerFlo ships an update every 4 months, Eye Candy Pigments every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
