# Pack Planner vs Tuiss SmartView

The clearest difference is rating: Tuiss SmartView at 4.7 against Pack Planner's 3.7. Tuiss SmartView also leads on ratings volume (100 vs 6). Pack Planner's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly) and review sentiment (50% vs 38%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Tuiss SmartView holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tuiss SmartView has 100 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Pack Planner's written reviews are positive against 38% of Tuiss SmartView's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pack Planner ships an update every 5 days, Tuiss SmartView monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
