# PepperJax vs Cornhusker Beverage

The clearest difference is monetization model: Cornhusker Beverage at free against PepperJax's free with in-app purchases. PepperJax's advantage is ratings volume (739 vs 16) and review sentiment (19% vs 0%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cornhusker Beverage holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PepperJax has 739 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of PepperJax's written reviews are positive against 0% of Cornhusker Beverage's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PepperJax ships an update every 4 months, Cornhusker Beverage every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
