# StudyCards vs Offline Flashcards

The clearest difference is rating: Offline Flashcards at 5.0 against StudyCards's 4.2. StudyCards's advantage is ratings volume (41 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StudyCards sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Offline Flashcards sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Offline Flashcards holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StudyCards has 41 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

StudyCards ships an update every 2 weeks, Offline Flashcards every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
