# PhantomPeer vs EncryptIt VPN

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: PhantomPeer at 11.0 against EncryptIt VPN's 16.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PhantomPeer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and EncryptIt VPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
