# Ryder Cup vs Madison Golf

The clearest difference is ads: Madison Golf at none against Ryder Cup's shown. Madison Golf also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Ryder Cup's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 58 months) and ratings volume (13K vs 2). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Madison Golf holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ryder Cup has 13K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ryder Cup ships an update fortnightly, Madison Golf every 58 months. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
