# Ryder Cup vs FVCC

The clearest difference is ads: FVCC at none against Ryder Cup's shown. FVCC also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Ryder Cup's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (13K vs 25). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Ryder Cup against 4.7 for FVCC. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ryder Cup has 13K ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ryder Cup ships an update fortnightly, FVCC every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
