# Ryder Cup vs Spring Lake Golf

The clearest difference is ads: Spring Lake Golf at none against Ryder Cup's shown. Spring Lake Golf also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Ryder Cup's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Spring Lake Golf holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ryder Cup has 13K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ryder Cup ships an update fortnightly, Spring Lake Golf every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
