# Ryder Cup vs Loop Golf

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Ryder Cup at none against Loop Golf's 3. Ryder Cup also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Loop Golf's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Loop Golf sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $49.00 per year. Ryder Cup asks for nothing beyond the download.

Loop Golf holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ryder Cup has 13K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ryder Cup ships an update fortnightly, Loop Golf every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
