# Weight Log vs Daily Weight Log

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Daily Weight Log at 100% against Weight Log's 43%. Daily Weight Log also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months). Weight Log's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Weight Log sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Daily Weight Log sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Weight Log holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 60 and 26 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Weight Log's written reviews are positive against 100% of Daily Weight Log's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Weight Log ships an update every 10 months, Daily Weight Log every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
