# Exoteach vs Hippocast

The clearest difference is monetization model: Exoteach at free against Hippocast's free with in-app purchases. On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Exoteach sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Hippocast sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
