# Device Tracker vs BT Find

The clearest difference is rating: Device Tracker at 4.7 against BT Find's 3.3. Device Tracker also leads on ratings volume (37K vs 3) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Device Tracker sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and BT Find sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Device Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Device Tracker has 37K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Device Tracker ships an update every 6 weeks, BT Find every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
