# Smart Widget vs Themes ©

The clearest difference is ads: Themes © at none against Smart Widget's shown. Themes © also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). Smart Widget's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (882 vs 71). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart Widget sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Themes © sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Themes © holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart Widget has 882 ratings behind it against 71, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Smart Widget ships an update every 10 days, Themes © every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
