# sense Diary vs Ever Journal

The clearest difference is monetization model: sense Diary at free against Ever Journal's freemium. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. sense Diary sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Ever Journal sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $18.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

sense Diary ships an update monthly, Ever Journal every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
