# SB24 vs CATER

The clearest difference is ads: SB24 at none against CATER's shown. SB24 also leads on ratings volume (381 vs 1) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). CATER's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CATER holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SB24 has 381 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SB24 ships an update every 6 weeks, CATER every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
