# TodaysList vs Thiro

The clearest difference is monetization model: TodaysList at free against Thiro's free with in-app purchases. TodaysList also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). Thiro's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and device support (5 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TodaysList sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Thiro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Thiro holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 16 and 49 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 76% of TodaysList's written reviews are positive against 83% of Thiro's.
