# Reverse vs Finder

The clearest difference is update cadence: Reverse at every 2 months against Finder's every 15 months. Reverse also leads on ratings volume (5.1K vs 236) and review sentiment (33% vs 20%). Finder's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Reverse sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Finder sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Finder holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reverse has 5.1K ratings behind it against 236, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Reverse's written reviews are positive against 20% of Finder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Reverse ships an update every 2 months, Finder every 15 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
