# Lovebug vs Fitpoke

The clearest difference is ads: Fitpoke at none against Lovebug's shown. Fitpoke also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months). Lovebug's advantage is ratings volume (125 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lovebug sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Fitpoke sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fitpoke holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lovebug has 125 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Lovebug ships an update every 2 months, Fitpoke every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
