# Fun Widget vs PicCo Widget Custom Homescreen

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: PicCo Widget Custom Homescreen at none against Fun Widget's 2. PicCo Widget Custom Homescreen also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 25). Fun Widget's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 52%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fun Widget sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. PicCo Widget Custom Homescreen asks for nothing beyond the download.

PicCo Widget Custom Homescreen holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PicCo Widget Custom Homescreen has 1.3K ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Fun Widget's written reviews are positive against 52% of PicCo Widget Custom Homescreen's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
