# Time Counter Widget vs Countdown

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Time Counter Widget at none against Countdown's 18. Time Counter Widget also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). Countdown's advantage is ratings volume (3.1K vs 3). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Time Counter Widget asks for nothing beyond the download.

Time Counter Widget holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countdown has 3.1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
