# Take2 vs Roommates.com

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Take2 at 100% against Roommates.com's 27%. Take2 also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.6). Roommates.com's advantage is ratings volume (249 vs 5) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Take2 sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Roommates.com sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.00 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Take2 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Roommates.com has 249 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
