# みてねみまもりGPS vs HILLS APP

The clearest difference is rating: HILLS APP at 5.0 against みてねみまもりGPS's 4.6. HILLS APP also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). みてねみまもりGPS's advantage is ratings volume (42 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HILLS APP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: みてねみまもりGPS has 42 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of みてねみまもりGPS's written reviews are positive against 17% of HILLS APP's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
