# SAFE4R vs TheJone

The clearest difference is rating: TheJone at 5.0 against SAFE4R's 3.2. SAFE4R's advantage is ratings volume (24 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SAFE4R sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and TheJone sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TheJone holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SAFE4R has 24 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SAFE4R ships an update every 9 days, TheJone every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
