# Countdown vs Iconic

The clearest difference is update cadence: Countdown at weekly against Iconic's monthly. Countdown also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Iconic sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown ships an update weekly, Iconic monthly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
